Stage 1 — Readiness & Scope
Objective: To determine the organization's readiness to enter the second stage audit (registration and certification) and to determine the scope of the audit. Conducting this audit is a requirement of the registration and certification stages, and reviewing important documents from the perspective of each standard is one of the implementation steps of this audit.
Stage 2 — On-site Audit & Report
This stage of the audit, previously referred to as the final audit or registration and certification audit, includes planning the audit, conducting the audit at the auditee's location within the intended scope of work, assessing the compliance of the existing system with the documents provided and the audited standard, and preparing and presenting an audit report containing strengths, potential for improvement, and possible non-conformities. If successful in this stage, the organization will be recommended for audit registration and certification of the desired management system. After completing the relevant steps, the desired certificate(s) will be provided to the organization.
Surveillance — Year 2 & 3
Since the validity period of the certificates issued is three years according to the laws governing auditing, during this period, the audit team ensures the effective implementation of the management system and the improvement of the relevant effectiveness indicators by conducting surveillance audits in the second and third years, and with the approval of the audit team, the issued certificate will be extended.
